What is the job about?
In this position, you're responsible for shaping the Cloud Platform capability by fostering its growth and efficiency. With a focus on the delivery of design and automation for landing zones, container platforms and developing and maintaining short- and long-term target architecture and transition plans, it includes strategic business dialogues with senior management to understand business strategy, pain points, objectives and needs. Ensuring business capabilities, information and IT applications are aligned and integrated to optimize IT solutions is also part of the objectives as well as handling architectural deviations and exceptions. Additionally, you play a key role in the engineering team in order to increase maturity in the cloud platforms by contributing to developer productivity, satisfaction, and operational impact.
You work with the Head of Engineering Platforms to develop IP, processes and tools - improving the quality and efficiency of delivery. By leveraging hands-on experience to ensure a high degree of confidence in our ability to deliver, you also work closely with the business areas development teams to provide support as required.
The location for this position is Gasverket in Stockholm and we apply a hybrid work set-up where you can combine office work with work from another location.
About you
We're looking for someone with a demonstrated track record in a developer experience role, including some team leadership experience. You're skilled in creating and presenting complex PowerPoint presentations to senior management, making them understand what needs to be done, including costs and benefits to be achieved.
To further succeed in this role, you need:
Experience of working in a product-led organization.
Experience of advising or assisting large organizations on how to use developer experience to meet business needs or overcome problems.
Strong and current knowledge of Microsoft Azure, CI/CD, and agile ways of working in a product-led setup.
Strong experience of delivering cloud solutions in large scale enterprises through the project life cycle - from initiation, through design, build and deployment into production.
B.Sc in Engineering or Computer Science.
You're an analytical person with the ability to analyze large amounts of information to synthesize and understand core requirements and themes. You communicate effectively with a range of customers and stakeholders at all levels, analyze large amounts of complex information, understand and articulate customer needs and issues, and create solutions to meet requirements and address issues.
